The “Labor Day” celebration on a beach in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey, became chaotic on Monday by a stabbing involving a child under the age of 17.
The young man, a resident of Newark, was arrested and faces two counts of attempted murder in connection with the attack.

NBC New York’s report on Tuesday indicates that Alex Galdamez, 22, and William Mazariegogo, 18, both from West Haverstraw, New York, had to be rushed to the hospital for injuries received.
Ocean County Sheriff Mike Mastronardy told the media that one of the victims was wounded in the chest and another in the hand.

Witnesses who spoke to the network indicated that the fight started for a woman. “It seems that one of the individuals accused the other of flirting with a girl,” revealed one person who pressed the fact.
After the knife attack, the boy tried to flee the beach, a man chased him.
“Our collaborative investigation revealed that the young man is responsible for both stabbings. We had two individuals in custody last night, but only one of them is responsible for both attacks. Both victims are in serious but stable condition this morning,” county attorney Bradley Billhimer said.
