The numbers don’t stop because of the terrible pandemic that has hit the world. Covid-19 in Florida are still under surveillance by the authorities.
The total number of covid-19 cases in the state reaches 648,269, deaths at 11,871 and the rate of positivity in the state is at 5.97%, according to Monday’s report. Miami-Dade has a total of 161,637 contagions and 2,658 people have died.

The Florida Department of Health reported in its report Monday that coronavirus cases increased to 648,269 among residents of the state and elsewhere, after a day with 1,838 new contagions.
The total number of covid-19 deaths in the sunshine reached 11,871 residents with 22 new deaths reported in the last 24 hours. These are added to 152 people who are not residents of the state but who died from the coronavirus in Florida.

Sunday’s report also marks that Florida has a positivity rate of 5.97%, managing to sustain itself for 26 consecutive days below 10%.
Miami-Dade counts 161,637 cases of coronavirus and Broward 73,426 according to the latest report. Between the two counties there are 235,063 cases, with counties most concentrated in total coronavirus people across Florida. The third county with the most cases of coronavirus is Palm Beach, with 43,187.
The report indicates that 2,658 people have lost their lives due to covid-19 in Miami-Dade and 1,220 people have died in Broward.
In Florida, 4,808,756 people (out of a population of 21.3 million) have been tested to determine whether they are infected with covid-19, of those 4,153,415 tested negative.
The recommendation offered by the authorities is that, to avoid contagion, if the person is not feeling well, they should stay home and call the health center’s free line. They also offer a list of places where those with symptoms can get tested.
