Both events were held with caravans. At the Joe Biden support event, supporters wore posters saying “Puerto Rico is not for sale“, alluding to the information that appeared in recent weeks when President Trump showed an interest in selling the Caribbean island after Hurricane Maria passed three years ago.
The Trump support event was somewhat more patriotic, with people carrying American flags and caps with the popular slogan “Make America Great Again.” They consider that Joe Biden does not have a plan for the Hispanic community in the United States and point out that the current president has been “by our side.”
