Fort Lauderdale Police are looking for a connection between the two events. Victims were hospitalized
The Fort Lauderdale Police Department reported two shootings occurring less than a mile away from each other; as a result of these events, two people were shot, one in each event.
The two victims, who were transferred to Broward Medical Center Hospital in a stable state, have so far not wanted to work with the authorities to clarify what happened.
The first of the incidents took place at SE on 22nd Street and South Andrews Avenue on Friday, September 4th afternoon.
“Apparently, there was an argument between two men and when the police went to the call they found one of the victims wounded in the street and the other just a few blocks away, at 408 SE 8th Court,” the report explained.
Now investigators are trying to establish the source of the shootings and whether there is any connection between them. To do this, they have established a large perimeter in the area and are looking for some suspicious person, while talking to some witnesses.
